Fuji-Q Highland Opens Permanent VR World in VRChat

HIKKY Co., Ltd. has planned and developed the XR Year-Round Project with Fuji Kyuko Co., Ltd., which celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2026. As part of the project, a Fuji-Q Highland-themed VR world opened to the public on July 27, 2026.

Available free of charge on the social VR platform VRChat, the world features attractions first introduced at Virtual Market 2026 Summer, held from July 11 to 26, 2026.

The world will also serve as the main gathering place for the Fuji-Q Highland Virtual Community, which attracted more than 10,000 members within approximately two weeks of opening registration.

HIKKY and Fuji-Q Highland will continue adding new content and events based on community feedback. Fans will also have opportunities to participate in future initiatives, including plans for Fuji-Q Highland’s exhibit at Virtual Market 2026 Winter, helping shape the world as an evolving, community-driven destination.

◆ Experience Fuji-Q Highland Anytime in VR

Fuji Kyuko and HIKKY are working together through Fuji Kyuko’s XR Year-Round Project to create new customer experiences that connect physical and digital spaces.

As the first initiative, Fuji-Q Highland made its debut at Virtual Market 2026 Summer in July 2026, where visitors enjoyed attractions designed specifically for VR.

The newly launched VR world extends the experience beyond the event period, allowing anyone to visit free of charge at any time. Visitors can enjoy popular attractions from the event and experience the world of Fuji-Q Highland 24 hours a day, regardless of time or location.

◆ Building Together with 10,000+ Fans

Following Fuji-Q Highland’s debut at Virtual Market 2026 Summer, the FUJIQ VIRTUAL PLAZA community was launched and attracted more than 10,000 members within two weeks.

Its Discord server is primarily a Japanese-language, text-based community, where members connect and share feedback with the management team. Most official communication is currently conducted in Japanese.

The new VR world will serve as the community’s gathering place, hosting events and incorporating member ideas into future XR content. Community members will also help shape Fuji-Q Highland’s exhibit for Virtual Market 2026 Winter.

New attractions and content will continue to be added as the world evolves together with its fans.

Visitors can continue to enjoy two of the most popular attractions from Virtual Market 2026 Summer free of charge on VRChat: Super FUJIYAMA!, the world's first* VR roller coaster that accelerates as riders scream, and Sugoku Nagashimasuka, a water attraction featuring interactive two-choice quizzes about Fuji-Q Highland.

The VR world will continue to expand with new attractions and experiences inspired by feedback from the FUJIQ VIRTUAL PLAZA community.
