Suzuki Makes Its Debut at Virtual Market with Two Interactive Booths

HIKKY will host Virtual Market 2025 Winter, the 15th edition of its globally recognized virtual event, from December 6–21st, 2025. The Virtual Market series has earned four Guinness World Records™ and attracts more than 1.3 million visitors from around the world, making it one of the largest immersive events of its kind.

This winter, Suzuki Motor Corporation, a comprehensive mobility manufacturer, will make its debut appearance at the event. Suzuki will showcase two dedicated booths highlighting key products: the SuzuRide 2 personal electric mobility vehicle, unveiled earlier this year at the Japan Mobility Show, and the Senior Car electric wheelchair, marking its 40th anniversary since release.

Background of Suzuki’s Participation

More than awareness, inviting younger audiences to learn mobility safety through fun experiences.

As a mobility manufacturer closely tied to daily life, Suzuki is developing a variety of solutions to address social issues such as an aging population and mobility disparities.

To expand recognition among younger generations, Suzuki sought new promotional approaches for the SuzuRide 2 personal electric mobility prototype and the Senior Car electric wheelchair, now marking its 40th anniversary. The Virtual Market stood out not only for its strong user base in their 20s–30s, but also for its ability to deliver hands-on content that helps visitors learn traffic rules, rather than simply displaying products. This alignment led to Suzuki’s first participation.

The initiative is also positioned as a testbed for new communication methods using virtual spaces, representing a fresh challenge for Suzuki.

SuzuRide Booth Highlights

Test-drive Suzuki’s latest personal mobility in a virtual space and enjoy a traffic-safety mini-game.

At the SuzuRide Booth, located in the Parareal Singapore corporate exhibition area, visitors can take a virtual test ride on a highly detailed 3D recreation of the SuzuRide 2, unveiled earlier this year at the Japan Mobility Show. Guests can also customize the vehicle by applying their own avatar’s appearance to the body of the SuzuRide 2, then ride their personalized model throughout the entire venue.

The booth also features a short quiz-style game that helps visitors learn the traffic rules for Japan’s Specified Small Motorized Bicycles, the category to which the SuzuRide 2 belongs.

In addition, everyone who completes the in-booth survey will receive a 3D acrylic stand of the SuzuRide 2 as a visitor-exclusive gift. You can place it in your home or world and enjoy a display of the not-yet-released SuzuRide 2 anytime you like.

Senior Car BoothHighlights

Showcasing the Senior Car’s 40th Anniversary inside a virtual space!

At the Senior Car Booth, located in the Parareal Shinjuku corporate exhibition area, Suzuki will showcase the Senior Car, its electric wheelchair now celebrating its 40th anniversary, inside a booth inspired by the company’s origins as the Suzuki Loom Works.

A highly detailed 3D model of the Senior Car will be on display, and visitors can also take a virtual test ride.

The booth features an interactive activity where guests can “gift” a Senior Car to an elderly woman who is struggling after walking too far. Rather than a simple product display, the experience encourages visitors to think about meaningful gifts for parents, grandparents, and other loved ones.

Everyone who completes the in-booth survey will receive a 3D model of the Senior Car 40th Anniversary Original Yunomi (Teacup), a playful nod to Suzuki’s famously popular tea cups. A giant Senior Car-themed tea cup photo spot is also set up inside the booth for visitors to enjoy.

The SuzuRide 2 is a personal electric mobility device classified in the same category as electric kick scooters, and can be ridden by anyone 16 years or older without a driver’s license. It operates much like a bicycle, but before people experience it in the real world, we want them to build familiarity not only in their minds but also through hands-on virtual experience.

Through this project, we are taking on a new approach, inviting visitors to enjoy a test-ride while naturally learning the essential traffic rules. We also hope everyone enjoys the unique virtual-only feature of applying their own avatar’s appearance directly onto the SuzuRide 2.

The Suzuki Senior Car celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, following the launch of the first model in 1985. The original Senior Car was developed as a safe, sidewalk-friendly mobility option for older adults and people with limited mobility. Since then, Suzuki has continued to advance the product with a strong focus on safety, while also engaging in traffic-safety awareness activities. In recent years, the Senior Car has also gained attention as a reliable mobility option for those who have returned their driver’s license.

For this year’s Senior Car booth, we have prepared an interactive experience where visitors can “gift” a Senior Car to an elderly person experiencing difficulty with walking. We hope this activity encourages visitors to think about mobility options for parents, grandparents, or loved ones who may need support after giving up their driver’s license.
