(hereafter “HMJ”) will make its first-ever appearance at Virtual Market 2025 Winter, the 15th edition of the globally renowned VR event Virtual Market (a.k.a Vket). The event, which has earned four Guinness World Records™ and attracts over 1.3 million visitors worldwide, will be held from December 6 (Sat) to December 21 (Sun), 2025.

HMJ will introduce a booth where visitors can casually yet authentically experience the joy and exhilaration of motorcycle rides through the virtual world.

Background of the Exhibition

Reaching a New Generation by Bringing the Joy of Motorcycles into Virtual Worlds

As young people’s interests continue to diversify, Honda Motorcycle Japan has been exploring new ways to introduce the excitement of motorcycle culture to emerging audiences, particularly younger riders. Recognizing that the metaverse shares strong cultural affinities with motorcycles, such as personal expression, customization, and hobby-driven communities, HMJ identified it as a promising space for direct engagement.

Among the various platforms, Virtual Market stood out for its global scale, its predominantly 20–30s user base, and its long-standing history of deep community involvement. These factors led HMJ to choose Virtual Market for its first-ever metaverse exhibition.

For this debut, HMJ will offer an immersive experience unique to the virtual environment, allowing even those without a motorcycle license to easily explore and enjoy the thrill of motorcycle rides.

Exhibition Highlights

Experience Motorcycle Rides in a Virtual World—Complete with the Classic Japanese Biker Gesture, “Yae”!

For its first appearance at Virtual Market, Honda Motorcycle Japan is introducing an exciting circuit- and theme-park-inspired booth within the corporate exhibition area Parareal Singapore.

Inside the booth, visitors can try Honda VR Touring, a virtual touring experience featuring two iconic Honda models—the Super Cub C125 and the CB1000 HORNET SP. Surrounded by seasonal scenery such as cherry blossoms, autumn foliage, and Christmas lights, guests can enjoy the exhilaration of motorcycle touring enhanced by the full immersion only virtual spaces can provide.

Riders can also try the well-known gesture “Yae”* a friendly hand signal exchanged commonly used in Japan between motorcyclists on the road. Up to four people can join the experience at the same time, making it perfect for both solo rides and group bike rides with friends.

After the ride, visitors can relax at the Riders’ Café and take commemorative photos with beautiful views in the background.

* “Yae” is a traditional Japanese greeting exchanged between motorcyclists when passing each other, expressed through a hand gesture that conveys goodwill, safe travels, and a sense of welcoming riders from afar.

Displaying intricately crafted 3D models of the Super Cub C125 and CB1000 HORNET SP!

The booth will feature highly detailed 3D models of the Super Cub C125, part of the Super Cub series with over 100 million units produced worldwide, and the large-displacement road sport model CB1000 HORNET SP.

Beyond accurate color reproduction, the models capture the real textures of each bike, including gloss and matte finishes, metallic reflections, paint depth, and even the feel of the seat material. The result is a level of realism that feels almost identical to seeing the actual motorcycles in person.

Note: The 3D models are based on overseas specifications and may differ from models sold in Japan.

A first for Vket: a dedicated community collaboration area!

A collaboration corner with the VRChat community [VRC Bikers Gathering] will also be featured inside the booth. In VRChat, communities function much like hobby groups built around shared interests. As its name suggests, VRC Bikers Gathering is a lively group of around 700 members, including both experienced riders and people simply interested in motorcycles.

HMJ approached the group with the desire to “support motorcycle communities and help energize the motorcycle market” and to “build deeper connections with people who love or are curious about motorcycles.” With both sides sharing the same passion for growing the motorcycle scene, the collaboration quickly came to life.

This marks the first time in Virtual Market history that a corporate booth includes a dedicated collaboration space with a community, creating a new model for co-creation between companies and user communities.

Everyone who completes the in-booth survey will receive a 3D model of a Honda-branded scarf. You can even wear the scarf during the bike ride experience! Feel free to match with your friends and enjoy group rides or commemorative photos together.
